Automatic sand and gravel filter, also known as quartz sand filter, is a filter that uses homogeneous quartz sand with equal particle size to form a sand bed as a filter carrier for filtration. A sand filter utilizes a sand filter bed of a certain thickness to filter out solid suspended organic and inorganic matter in raw water; Simple structure, mature technology, high cost-effectiveness, and wide application fields.

The sand filter filtration system can be composed of one or more standard high-speed filtration units. The raw water passes through an internal water distributor, filter layer, and collector, and the filter layer medium is used to effectively remove suspended solids and reduce turbidity. (If specific materials such as activated carbon, anthracite, etc. are loaded, they can also adsorb and remove corresponding organic matter and harmful ions.)

There are various standard series of sand filter units ranging from 16 "(400mm) to 60" (1500mm). Non standard series can also be provided according to customer requirements, providing the most economical and practical combination method for customers.

This product can be used as an independent filtration system or as a side filtration system. If multiple processing units are installed on a common pipeline, the filtration capacity of the system can be infinitely expanded. At the same time, it can work stably for a long time under high flow and low pressure loss conditions, energy-saving and environmentally friendly, and basically maintenance free.
